【摘要】:Thistestmethodmeasuresthetendencyofautomotivemanualtransmissionandfinaldrivelubricantstodeteriorateunderhigh-temperatureconditions,resultinginthickoil,sludge,carbonandvarnishdeposits,andtheformationofcorrosiveproducts.Thisdeteriorationcanleadtoseriousequipmentperformanceproblems,including,inparticular,sealfailuresduetodepositformationattheshaft-sealinterface.Thistestmethodisusedtoscreenlubricantsforproblematicadditivesandbaseoilswithregardtothesetendencies.Thistestmethodisusedorreferredtointhefollowingdocuments:5.2.1AmericanPetroleumInstitute(API)Publication1560-LubricantServiceDesignationsforAutomotiveManualTransmissions,ManualTransaxles,andAxles,75.2.2STP-512Ax2013;LaboratoryPerformanceTestsforAutomotiveGearLubricantsIntendedforAPIGL-5Service,85.2.3SAEJ308-InformationReportonAxleandManualTransmissionLubricants,9and5.2.4U.S.MilitarySpecificationMIL-L-2105D.1.1ThistestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheL-60-1test.Itcoverstheoil-thickening,insolubles-formation,anddeposit-formationcharacteristicsofautomotivemanualtransmissionandfinaldriveaxlelubricatingoilswhensubjectedtohigh-temperatureoxidizingconditions.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardexceptforthecatalystweightlossandoilweightmeasurements,forwhichtheunitisgram;theoilvolume,forwhichtheunitismillilitre;thealternatoroutput,forwhichtheunitiswatt;andtheairflow,forwhichtheunitismilligramperminute.TheotherSIvalues,whichareinparentheses,areforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarninginformationisgiveninSections7and8andAnnexA3.
