【摘要】:Thisspecificationhasbeenpublishedinresponsetothespecialcircumstanceofregulatoryrequirementsregardingfederalprocurementguidelinesforplasticpipehavingrecycledcontent.ThisspecificationcoverscoextrudedPoly(VinylChloride)(PVC)plasticpipewithacenterlayerandconcentricinnerandoutersolidlayers.Thepipeisproducedusingamulti-layercoextrusiondie.TheinnerandouterlayersaremadeofvirginPVCcompoundandthecenterlayerhasreprocessed-recycledPVCcontent.Thepipeisfornon-pressureuseinthreeseries:Sewer-Drainserieswithasewer-pipeoutsidediameterandapipestiffnessof46psi(320kPa),IPSSchedule40series,andIPSPipeStiffness(PS)serieswithpipestiffnessesof100psi(690kPa)and120psi(830kPa).Pipethatisoutside-diametercontrolleddoesnotnecessarilyhaveaninsidediametersuitableforuseasafittingsocket.Allseriesmaybeperforated.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
